On the 4th day, partners discussed the Suitcase Circus For Youth in details, discussing plans for the workshops organisations.

We also spoke about the financial, and the communications/visibility aspects of the project. All information about the communications and visibility are available for partners on this webpage (private session).

 

Here is the calendar partners decided for the activities. This information will be discussed by each partner with their team before validation.

 

 

Argentina:
A 1.30-2hours’ workshop once a week between April and September.
Theme: stilts, acrobatics, acrobalance, aerial and juggling.

 

Chile:
A 2 hours’ workshop once a week between April and September.
Themes: Acrobatics, juggling, clown and aerial.

 

Mexico:
A 4 hours’ workshops per week between March and June.
Themes: Balance, acrobatics, juggling and clown.

 

Costa Rica:
2 hours’ workshop every week between March and June.
Themes: Clown and juggling.

 

Spain:
In March they will organise training for trainers, teaching them pedagogical methods using circus, a 10 hours’ course.
Then there will be 8 hours of workshops a month between April and June.
Theme: Aerial trapeze, juggling… (Depending on what young people want to learn).

 

Estonia:
Will organise a training camp between May and June. They will use skills on children. This still needs to be discussed with the team.
Theme: Pyramid, juggling, performance skills.

 

Belgium:
Workshop every week or two weeks between April-June
Theme: Majorette workshops (circus and percussion techniques blend with the theme of majorettes) with disadvantage young people and middleage adult woman.

 

 

 

 

 

AFTERNOON:

During the afternoon, partners went in Madrid for a visit of .

Following Julio’s contact, a famous clown/bouffon, we visited the Templo Patolico, place dedicated to the plastic rubber duck.

 

 

 

 

EVENING:

Partners had the chance to get a private tour of the Teatro Circo Price, where they saw a famous juggling show.
